Chunky Apple Sauce

8 Apples
½ cup water
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ cup to 1 cup sugar   or ½ cup maple syrup

Peel and slice apples into large chunks.
Stir together with the water and sweetner.
Pour into crockery

Cook on LOW 8-10 hours  or
Cook on HIGH 3-4 hours

You can substitute red hots for the cinnamon and sugar.
