4 or 5 Apples
3 or 4 slices of Bread
1 Cup Sugar
3 TBSP Flour
½ tsp. Cinnamon
1 Stick Melted Margarine
1 Egg
· Chop apples finely, (using salt water to prevent turning)
· Put in bottom of casserole dish
· Trim the crust from bread, cut slices longwise into 3rds and layer on top of apples.
· Mix together the sugar, flour and cinnamon
· Then add the melted margarine and egg
· Pour on top
· Bake @ 350 for 30 minutes.
The apples may be peeled and chopped the night before. Refrigerate in salt water to prevent discoloration!!!
