6 Milky Way Dark Chocolate Bars
½ Cup Butter or Margarine
· Combine chocolate bars and butter or margarine in medium saucepan and melt over low heat. While candy is melting prepare batter.
½ Cup Butter of Margarine
2 Cups Sugar
4 Eggs
2 ½ Cups Sifted Flour (plain)
½ tsp. Baking Soda
1 ¼ Cups Buttermilk
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
1 Cup Chopped Nuts
· Cream ½ Cup Butter or margarine and sugar until mixture is light and fluffy.
· Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
· Add flour and baking soda alternately with buttermilk, stirring until smooth.
· Add melted candy, mixing well; stir in vanilla extract and nuts.
· Pour batter into greased and floured bundt or 10” tube pan.
· Bake 350 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
· Remove from pan.
