Nutty Pound Cake

2 cups self rising flour-divided                        1 cup pecans, finely chopped
2 sticks butter                                              1 ¾ cup sugar
5 eggs                                                         1/3 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla

Flour the chopped nuts with ½ cup of the 2 cups of flour.
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy, add eggs one at a time.  Beat well
Add flour with milk an dvanilla.  Stir in the floured nuts.
Bake in a preheated 300 degree oven for about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Test for doneness.
Let cake cool and icing with brown butter frosting

BROWN BUTTER FROSTING:
1 stick of butter                                           4 cups of powdered sugar
½ tspl vanilla                                                3 or 4 tbsp hot water
¼ cup milk
Heat butter to golden brown.  Remove from heat, cool slightly. 
Add the sugar, vanilla, milk, hot water and stir until cool.
