Potato Soup

1 Stick Butter                       
½ Cup Flour
2 tsp. Salt
Pepper
3 Cups Water                       
6 – 8 Potatoes, cubed
Onion
1 can Evaporated milk            
6 slices Bacon (or bacon bits)
1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese

·      Melt butter on medium – low heat in large pot
·      Shake flour and a little water to mix. Stir in mixture.
·      Add salt, pepper and water, then potatoes.
·      Cook on medium until potatoes are done, about 20 minutes.
·      Meanwhile, cook bacon, and then tear in bits.
·      Add evaporated milk to cooked soup.
·      Simmer for 1 minute or till hot.
·      Serve in bowls; top with cheese and bacon.
