Slow Cooked Sirloin Roast...two versions

  • Buy a sirloin tip roast
  • Line a baking pan with aluminum foil, leaving enough to cover.
  • Tenderize roast with knife, by poking knife into roast some
  • Place roast in baking pan

  • Mix. . .
1 can of golden mushroom soup,
1 soup can of water,
1 package of Lipton dry onion soup mix and

Pour over roast,  Cover roast with remaining aluminum foil, don’t leave a vent hole

Bake at 350 for 45 minutes, then turn down oven to 250 or 275 and bake for about 4 more hours (maybe )

If you put roast in at 12, it will be done by 5
If you put roast in by 8, it will be done by 1

Version 2

  • Place roast in baking pan

  • Mix. . .
1 can of cream of mushroom soup,
1 soup can of water,
1 package of Lipton dry onion soup mix and
1 TBSP of A1 Steak sauce;
Add a small can of drained mushrooms

Pour over roast, Cover roast with remaining aluminum foil, don’t leave a vent hole

Bake at 350 for 45 minutes, then turn down oven to 250 or 275 and bake for about 4 more hours (maybe )

If you put roast in at 12, it will be done by 5
