Apple Dumplings

Recipe may be halved for a 9x9 dish

2 cans of crescent rolls                                       
4 apples, uncooked
2 cup of orange juice                                          
1 ½ stick margarine
2 cups sugar with a little flour added                    
Cinnamon

  • Peel and cut up apples into bite sized pieces
  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Separate crescent rolls, sprinkle with cinnamon
  • Wrap apples in crescent rolls and pinch together.
  • Melt butter in dish, place dumplings in dish.
  • Mix orange juice, sugar, and cinnamon, pour over dumplings.
  • Bake for 30 minutes

If making half, use about ¾ cups of sugar and ¾ of a stick of margarine.
