Apple Cobbler

1 quart of canned yellow delicious apples, with liquid, or fresh cooked apples
1 stick of butter
1 cup of self-rising flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk (  I use cream)

  • Preheat oven to 350-375, place stick of butter in baking dish and put into oven to melt butter.
  • Pour apples on top of butter.
  • Combine flour, sugar & milk, mix well.
  • Pour over apples.
  • Bake for about 25-30 minutes.
I think it would be good to sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon on apples too~
