BIscuits


2 Cups Self-Rising Flour   (SIFTED)          
6 TBSP Crisco
1 Cup Buttermilk
Pinch of salt
Pinch of Baking Powder

·      Use a cutter to cut Crisco into flour.
·      Add buttermilk.
·      Mix with fork.
·      Roll out and cut with cutter.  (make them thick)
·      Bake at 450 until lightly brown. About 8 minutes!


Good for dumplings.

For Cheese Biscuits:   Add Cheddar Cheese to Batter.     When they come out of the oven, spread garlic butter on top.
