Creamed Style Corn

2 cups cut corn (about 4 ears)                                       
1 Tbsp. Flour
2 Tbsp. Butter (can use bacon drippings, if desired)                   
¼ Cup Evaporated Milk (Canned)
½ Tsp. Salt
1 Tbsp. Sugar                                                                
½ Cup Water

·         Sauté corn in melted butter and add water.
·         Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
·         Add sugar and salt.
·         Mix flour with milk to make a smooth paste
·         Mix small amount of hot corn mixture into flour and milk mixture; then put all of the mixture into corn and stir well.
·         Simmer 1 more minute or until thickened.
·         Pepper to taste.
