French Fried Cheese Sticks

FRENCH FRIED CHEESE STICKS


Milk                                               
Flour
1 Egg beaten                                 
Bread crumbs                    
Cheddar Cheese (finely sifted)

·      Cut in 1x1x2 inch pieces
·      Warm milk to lukewarm, enough to cover the cheese bits.
·      Soak for 1-½ hours.
·      Drain
·      Roll cheese in flour, dip in egg, then in crumbs
·      Heat oil to 400 degrees and deep fry cheese sticks 3 or 4 minutes or until brown.
·      Drain on wire rack with paper towels underneath.
