Honey Fried Chicken

Buttermilk, to soak chicken                                        
2 Cups Flour
1 tsp. Salt                                                                 
1 tsp. Garlic Powder
½ tsp. Cayenne Pepper                                              
1 Cup Butter
½ Cup Honey                                                            
½ Cup Broken Pecans                   
INSTEAD OF USING THIS COATING, YOU CAN USE THE KERNELS

  • Soak chicken in buttermilk for 30 minutes.
  • Mix flour, salt, garlic, and cayenne pepper.
  • Dip chicken in mix for 20 minutes.
  • Fry in oil until done.
  • Cook butter, pecans and honey until well blended.
  • Pour over chicken to serve.
