Mexican Cornbread


·            Brown one pound ground beef, one large onion.
·            Add ½ jar taco sauce and 1 ½ cup grated cheddar cheese.
·            Mix 1-cup self-rising corn meal, 2 eggs 1-cup sweet milk and a small can of cream style corn.
·            Grease iron skillet, sprinkle with corn meal and brown.  Next pour in ½ cornmeal mixture.  Then beef mixture.
·            Top with grated cheese. Add remaining corn meal mixture and bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
