1 pkg. Yellow Cake Mix (reserve ½ cup for topping)
½ cup butter
1 egg
- Cut the butter into the cake mix until crumbly.
- Stir in egg, makes a stiff dough.
- With floured hands, press mixture into an ungreased pan
- Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
Topping:
½ cup reserved cake mix 1 cup Dark Corn Syrup
3 Eggs 1 tsp. Vanilla
1 Cup Sugar 2 Cups Chopped Pecans
- Beat everything (except pecans) until smooth.
- Add the pecans and pour over crust.
- Bake at 250 for 25 – 30 minutes.
