Prune Cake with Buttermilk Icing


3 Eggs                                                             
1 Cup Wesson Oil
1 Cup Buttermilk                                               
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 ½ C Sugar                                                      
2 Cups Flour
1 Cup Cooked Prunes                                          
1 Cup Nuts (any kind)
1 tsp. Soda                                                       
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Allspice                                                    
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 tsp. Nutmeg

·        Bake @ 350 for 45 minutes
·        Bake @ 300 for 60 minutes
ICING
¼ Cup Butter
1 Cup White Sugar
½ tsp. Soda
 ½ Cup Buttermilk
1 TBSP. Syrup (white corn)
½ Tsp. Vanilla

·        Boil to Softball & Pour over the Hot Cake
