Seaside Candy Roll

1 Cup Pecans                                                      1/3 cup Margarine
½ Cup Karo Light Corn Syrup                                 1 tsp Maple Flavoring
½ tsp Salt                                                     1 pound Powdered Sugar

  • Chop ½ cup nuts finely,  chop the other half coarsely
  • Mix together everything except for the nuts. – ADD the cornsyrup, sugar all at once.
  • Kneed in finely chopped nuts.
  • Shape mixture into 2 rolls, 2 inches thick. 
  • Brush with additional corn syrup and roll in coarsely chopped nuts.
  • Wrap and chill
  • Slice into ¼ inch pieces before serving
Makes 1 ½ pound
