Strawberry Float


½ pint box of fresh strawberries            
¼ cup sugar
3 cups milk, chilled                        
 ½ pint strawberry ice cream

·      Gently wash berries in cold water, drain and hull.
·      Crush with a potato masher in a bowl, stir in sugar.
·      Gradually add in milk, beating with rotary beater.
·      Spoon in ice cream.  Stir until it starts to melt.
·      Serve in tall glasses
