Mozarella Meat Pie

1 lb. Ground beef                                                            
1/3 cup chopped onion
1 (6 oz.) tomato paste                                                  
1 (4 oz) mozzarella cheese
½ tsp. oregano                                                              
½ tsp. salt
Dash of pepper                                                               
1 (8 oz.)  Crescent rolls

  • Brown meat; drain.
  • Add onion, cook until tender.
  • Add tomato paste, seasonings and half the cheese; mix well.
  • Separate crescent dough into 8 triangles.
  • Place in 9” pie plate, pressing together to form crust.
  • Fill with meat mixture; top with remaining cheese.
  • Bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes, or until crust is brown.
