½ LB. Soft Caramels
1 cup Pecan Halves
2 Tablespoons Heavy Cream
4 Squares Semi-Sweet Chocolate
· Melt caramels and cream together over hot water (double boiler).
· Cool about 10 minutes.
· Place pecan halves on waxed paper in-groups of 3.
· Spread caramel over pecans and let set approximately ½ hour or until caramel is set.
· Melt Chocolate over hot water till melted.
· Cool to lukewarm.
· Spread cooled chocolate over caramels, but do not cover tips of pecans. Makes approximately 2 dozen.
